On Dec 6, 2024 Bp. Barber announced that St. John the Baptist and St. David of Wales would become clustered parishes as of February 2, 2025.

As clustered parishes, the two parishes would remain largely independent. Finances, parish councils, etc. would continue to be separate. However, the priests would celebrate the sacraments in both parishes.

Fr Benedict Wonganant was assigned as Pastor of Saint Anne Union City effective Feb 1, 2025. This meant that the priests at St. Johns would do Masses for both parishes. At the time St. Johns had Fr. Thuong and Fr. Chrisanttus. Fr. Thuong was pastor of St. Johns. He became parochial administrator of St. David. Fr. Chrisanttus was in residence at St. Johns and studying at GTU. Fr. Chrisantus moved his residence to the rectory at St. David. Both parishes have to routinely get assistance from priests outside the parish.
